Frozen Blackberry Mojito Slushies

Hello, summer! It’s barely July and we’ve already had a couple heat waves here in Seattle so we are in full swing of the season. I don’t know about you but on those sweltering hot days I want nothing more than a refreshing frozen cocktail. That icy, cooling, and brain freeze-inducing spiked slushy sweetness always hits the spot. Today we’re going old-school but with a new twist. We’re taking the classic mojito and making it into a delicious and frozen treat with the addition of sweet summer blackberries. The best part: the Mint Syrup from the Master of Mixes Essential Cocktail line makes it a snap to create a mixologist-level summer cocktail whether you’re always the designated party bartender or you’re a total novice. The Master of Mixes Mint Syrup is made with Pacific Northwest Spearmint (woo! shoutout to PNW!) and adds the perfect amount of minty sweetness to our mojito without having to go through the trouble of making our own simple syrup and muddling mint leaves. 2 cups frozen blackberries
1/2 cup Master of Mixes Mint Syrup
1 cup white rum
zest of 4 limes
1/4 cup lime juice
2 cups ice

garnish
fresh mint sprigs
fresh blackberries

Combine everything in a high-powered blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses, garnish with sprig of mint and a few blackberries. Enjoy!
